Although looking more like an actual horn, this piece is constructed from maple. It does not take much imagination to picture a duplicate piece, lay them horizontally base-to-base and visualize the horns protruding from wild animal’s skull. Although constructed from the same piece of maple, there are strong variations in the grain and color of the wood. This tonal variation adds character to the spiral as it twists and turns. The height of the piece is 19″ and its base diameter is 5.5″.
